Hi,

		Thanks for your replies.
However I have more problems. I found out the sysObjectID for my switch. i.e
1.3.6.1.4.1.45.3.30.1

Now I have to make changes in the script to accommodate my Baystack Switch.
Well I am not a programmer so the script file was confusing. Basically the
script file had the following entries which has OID's type Entries. they
are:-

 snmpmapOID('vlanIndex' =>             '1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.9.2.1.1',
            'vmVlan' =>                '1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.68.1.2.2.1.2',
            'dot1dTpFdbPort' =>        '1.3.6.1.2.1.17.4.3.1.2',
            'dot1dBasePortIfIndex' =>  '1.3.6.1.2.1.17.1.4.1.2',
            'sysObjectID' =>           '1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0',
            'CiscolocIfDescr' =>       '1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.28',
            'ifAlias' =>               '1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.18');

My Router is CISCO 2500 series so I guess I don't have to make any changes
for the CISCO router OID's but only for the switch. So I replaced the OID on
the fifth line i.e
            'sysObjectID' =>           '1.3.6.1.2.1.1.2.0',
	with

	       'sysObjectID' =>           '1.3.6.1.4.1.45.3.30.1'

but still the cfg file created was empty. Can anyone please guide me on the
right changes to be made to the script file.

Thanks,
Chetan

I believe that OIDs that cammer polls will only work with Cisco Catalyst
switches.

You will have to find the corresponding OIDs for the Baystack(Nortel) Switch

and hack appropriately.

I've run cammer many times and it saves our workstation support guys much
time in determining what port into which a workstation is plugged. I've
given them the cammer files for each switch and a DOS grep program. They
like it. Thanks, Tobi!
