[mrtg] Error With local director

[Plane, Robert]

I'm trying to use mrtg with Cisco's Local Director. this is the error I
receive

Received SNMP response with unknown snmp-version field 1

I can't connect with getif but I can with snmputil.
Any ideas would be appreciated
