hi guys,
I have a perl script that talks to a device over a serial link.
3 runs of the perl script:
root at franken-bsd (/home/mrtg/run)# ./test.pl
300118
500440
0
0
root at franken-bsd (/home/mrtg/run)# ./test.pl
300450
500382
0
0
root at franken-bsd (/home/mrtg/run)# ./test.pl
300779
500124
0
0
show the perl script works.
the config file :
WorkDir: /home/stats/
#.....................................................................
Target[test]: `/home/mrtg/run/test.pl`
MaxBytes[test]: 1250000000
Options[test]: growright, bits
Title[test]: test
PageTop[test]:<H3>Analysis</H3>

looks okay to me.
so i type
root at franken-bsd (/home/mrtg/run)# ./mrtg test.cfg
root at franken-bsd (/home/mrtg/run)#
which gives me no errors after it creates the logfiles the first time.
however, after 60 minutes the log file looks like this:
979261801 300173 500851
979261801 0 0 0 0
979261501 0 0 0 0
979261500 0 0 1 1
979261200 1 1 21 4
979260900 1 3 21 35
979260600 0 0 0 0
979260300 0 0 0 0
which looks way wrong to me....
(should be in the 300,000 and 500,000 ranges according to my perl output)
suggestions?
