Nas,

Not going too much off topic. WebNM provides an autodiscovery functionality
that allows users to create hundreds of MRTG/RRD-Tool reports in a few
minutes. And both WebNM and Denika are 100% web-based. Users can download an
eval of Denika from www.somix.com and an production WebNM Server is
available for demo if your interested.

Marc,

I am not so sure what these software gives on top of what MRTG can offer any
idea if we can get an evaluation copy.

Many thanks

Nas.

We use the MRTG-PING-PROBE (v2.01) within WebNM and Denika. WebNM multitasks
the polling in order to scale 10,000+ reports off a single server. If you
need more info check out www.somix.com.

Subject: [mrtg] Ping-Probe

Hi everyone,

I am using the MRTG to graph a ping probe data. I have estiamted around
10seconds to probe one router (on my machine).

For a relatively large Network with 50 routers that would have been
500seconds (over 8Mins). This basicaly due to the fact that each router
probing will have to wait to the previous one to be accomplished. If these
probes were carried in multitasking mode that would reduce considerably the
overall probing time.

So if anyone used the ping-probe to monitor concurrently a large network, I
appreciate his input.

I am using the MRTG and the PIng-probe-201 on an NT machine.

Many thanks.

Hi everyone.

I'm new to MRTG, but I wanted to create a graph with information for more
than a year.
Can someone help me?

Thanks in advance, Tiago Abreu (ta at bportugal.pt).
