[mrtg] What is the average for MRTG???

Hi,

i use MRTG and it work very well.
But i don't understand how MRTG interpret the averages.

I explain:

my graphs monitor some interfaces of a router( ifinoctet, ifoutoctet)
I have 4 graphs
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Yearly

What's the average on these graphs???
The daily graph show me 400 *5 minutes or 1.3 days.
In this case the average is DELTA on 1.3 days or last 5 minutes??
The average depend on the graphs large 400 pixel???
If i use the Xsize[]: 500 pixel  i see more time ,the average is the same???

And so on.

I have read manuals faq....
