you can do that.
mrtg can handle basic math (+-/*)
For instance, portmaster OIDs for modem use return modems +1 extra (which
is the either),
so...
Target[pm3]:
oid.which.i.dont.recall.exactly&oid.which.i.dont.recall.exactly at ip -1
gives the right value....
