Hi guys,
well, i've used mrtg for about 3 years without any problem.
Recently I configured it to poll a proprietary SNMP daemon
for some OIDs but mrtg is not producing any data in the graph (always zero)
I tried various options including "gauge, perminute, perhour, absolute" without
luck.
I turned on "base" debugging mode in mrtg and this is the output:
--base: Creating Lockfiles
../conf/sirio.blixer.it.conf_l,../conf/sirio.blixer.it.conf_l_500
--base: Reading Config File: ../conf/sirio.blixer.it.conf
--base: Reading Interface Config cache
--base: Checking Config File
--base: Loading default Locale
--base: Starting main Loop
--base: Populate Target object by polling SNMP and external Datasources
--base: Act on Router/Target sirio_popretrievedmsgs
--base: Get Current values: (9750, 30545, 6 days, 4:58:19, , 980959758)
--base: Create Graphics
--base: Check for Thresholds
--base: Check for Write HTML Pages
--base: Exit main Loop
--base: Remove Lock Files
--base: Store Interface Config Cache
[root at coredump conf]# snmpget sirio public .1.3.6.1.4.1.2415.1.1.1.2.1.1.1.20
enterprises.2415.1.1.1.2.1.1.1.20 = Counter32: 9750
[root at coredump conf]# snmpget sirio public .1.3.6.1.2.1.28.1.1.1.20
28.1.1.1.20 = Counter32: 30545
So snmp variables are read perfectly.
Suggestions?
