[mrtg] Lame question, but must confirm

In the past, I have run MRTG every 5 minutes, and recieved an error when trying to run it at a shorter interval. This was a while ago, so I want to just confirm the answer:

Can I run MRTG to poll devices more than just once every 5 minutes (such as once every 2 minutes)?
