[mrtg] total bandwidth?

Hey all,
I have mrtg running on a linux box, monitoring a nic and showing the 
bandwidth which is in use.  Is there a way to make mrtg show the total amount 
of bandwidth used (preferably with a graph on a per day, per week and per 
month basis, if at all possible)?
