[mrtg] Rateup.exe

I am running mrtg-2.9.12a with run as a deamon =y on a windows nt server and
am looking for a way to stop the rateup.exe from flashing on the screen
everytime mrtg runs.
I am currently monitoring about 300 router interfaces from about 42 config
files.
also
I have a problem with deamonized configs that stop runniing after I receives
the message too many open files . I have change the number of files in
config.nt but this did not seen to help.  I have also set my configs up so
that no config has more than 10 interfaces targets.  

Hope some one can help.
