Hi.
I have a problem at work and I cant find the answer anywhere on the net, faq, manual, archives, etc....
I want to monitor a dual cpu Linux box from a central server. I found out that net-snmp does not support dual cpu so the only place i can get the info from is /proc/stat on the remote machine (RedHat). I tried getting it over to the mrtg box via bash and expect but i cant get either to work properl (problems with awk example [ http://faq.mrtg.org/linux/proc-load.html ] and expect). I cant find any example on the net but i jsut know tons of lucky people have this set up. So...
Could someone pls provice some kind of script that could allow me to get the remote values of /proc/stat to my mrtg box?
*anxious*
