Lars,
We have a wide assortment of Cabletron switches on this
campus. Here's a short list:

2E42-27R
2H252-25R
6E132-25
6E122-26
6H202-24
6E233-49
9A000
9A426-01
9xXXX-XX
ELS-26TX

and many many more. The firmware ranges greatly from the first
revision to the very latest. You don't need a special MIB to get
information out of the switch. The standard MIBs that come with any
SNMP software will work fine unless you have some very special needs.
I've never used any special Cabletron MIBs personally. OIDs aren't
needed either. If you want something that fancy then you'll need to
get the MIBs off of their FTP site. I can't imagine ever needing
anything that fancy out of a switch, unless of course you were using
NetSight. The config files I use are plain, generic configs produced
by cfgmaker with some HTML crap I added to format the outputted page.
It's all very standard. Nothing fancy is needed to monitor those
devices. Just SNMPwalk them and look for the info you want to graph
(99 times out of 100 it's I/O). Good luck

Justin
