Did you make a config by typing 

perl cfgmaker snmp_community at x.x.x.x > mrtg.cfg

to start off?  From the sound of it, I would bet not...

 Hello. I have installed the mrtg rpm and it doesn't seem to work. SNMPD
is installed correctly and when I run .../mrtg .../mrtg.cfg it sais:
SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
  error status: noSuchName
...

 Can you tell me what is going on and what I should do, please ?
