I think we've all see this post, but you leave out some important
information:
1.  What platform is the "virtual" on?
2.  What sort of SNMP stack is there for this "virtual".
3.  Do you need to go to extraordinary efforts to generate statistics?

Without that information, the answer is "maybe" and "Beats me"
