No NT, sorry. Just a quicky:

Your targets will now look like
   Target[switch-x.1]: 1:public at switch-x
   Target[switch-x.12]: 12:public at switch-x

This is short hand for:
(long lines wrapped, write each target as one line)
   Target[switch-x.1]: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1&1.3.6.1.2.1.2.
                                    2.1.16.1:public at switch-x
   Target[switch-x.12]: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.12&1.3.6.1.2.1.
                                 2.2.1.16.12:public at switch-x

Now read the manuals and look up what to substitute for
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10 (which is the ifInOctets counter) and
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16 (which is the ifOutOctets counter).

Then create another target, suggested name: Target[switch-x.errors.1]:
and fill in the modified OID line. More information is in the MRTG
docs, the MRTG FAQ page and (hopefully) your devices manual.

cheers,
