[mrtg] FP and NT

I have had a working MRTG installation under NT4.0(sp6) for awhile. I then installed the FP extensions and now MRTG cannot update... permissions denied. I have tweaked the permissions under NT and FP six ways from Sunday, but to no avail. Any hints, FAQs ??
