I am making the slow change to mrtg on Linux and am having a "wonderful"
(read sucky) time at it.

(my mrtg works great on NT with rrd, but I want to integrate it with
Bigbrother...in case you were wondering)

1) my cfgmaker script (tried adding --snmp-options=::1:1::2 as well to
cfgmaker --global "WorkDir: /var/www/html/mrtg/linux" --global "Options[_]:
growright,bits" question at > mrtg2.cfg
(made sure that is was all on the same line)

Made sure of the following:
*	MRTG v2.9.12 works (see below)
*	Perl is current (see below)
*	I could do an snmpwalk manually (see below)
*	Snmpd is running

SNMPWALK Problem for on question at redhat7:
 at /usr/bin/cfgmaker line 95
--base: Walking ifOperStatus
SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
  error status: noSuchName
  index 1 (OID:
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "redhat7" [].161)
                  community: "question"
                 request ID: 169399765
                PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
                    timeout: 2s
                    retries: 5
                    backoff: 1)

Usage: mrtg <config-file>

mrtg-2.9.12a is the Multi Router Traffic Grapher.
