Try putting this in your cfg file.

	Options[tcp]: gauge

Also check that the MaxBytes is NOT set lower than the
values passed through, otherwise its ignored.

Subject: [mrtg] Problems running an external script

Hi!

I'm running a .CFG mrtg script wich in turn runs a perl script that produces
an output as follows:

	first line: a numeric value
	second line: another numeric value
third line: the sysUpTime (in days, hours:minutes:seconds)
	fourth line: the sysName

This perl script runs ok in a DOS prompt
(sample output...)

	3
	4
	204 days, 14:29:01
	abc.xpto.pt

Why doesn't it run ok with mrtg-2.9.10 ? ... I can't see the sysname nor the
sysuptime and I always get the value 1 for variable 1 and 2.

Does anyone have any sugestion?

Thanks.
