I use the --descint option in cfgmaker and the --section=descr in indexmaker
to create some pretty fancy html and graphs.
/usr/local/mrtg/cfgmaker --descint --global "WorkDir:
/usr/local/mrtg/htdocs/xxxx" --global "ThreshDir: /tmp" --global
"Options[_]: Growright, Bits" --global "ThreshMaxI[_]: 90%" --global
"ThreshProgI[_]: /usr/local/mrtg/bin_thresh/link_thresh" --global "IconDir:
/gifs" public at 192.168.0.1 > /usr/local/mrtg/etc/xxxx.cfg
#
/usr/local/mrtg/indexmaker --section=descr --columns=1 --title="Router
Overview" /usr/local/mrtg/etc/xxxx.cfg > /usr/local/mrtg/htdocs/xxxx/xxxx.html
The cfg looks like this.
### Interface 10 >> Descr: 'FastEthernet0/0' | Name: 'Fa0/0' | Ip: '' |
Eth: '' ###
Target[xxxx]: 10:public at xxxx:
SetEnv[xxxx]: MRTG_INT_IP="" MRTG_INT_DESCR="FastEthernet0/0"
MaxBytes[xxxx]: 12500000
Title[xxxx]: Traffic Analysis for 10 -- xxxx
PageTop[xxxx]: <H1>Traffic Analysis for 10 -- xxxx</H1>
<TABLE>
<TR><TD>System:</TD> <TD>xxxx</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Maintainer:</TD> <TD>changed</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Description:</TD><TD>FastEthernet0/0 to blah and blah</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifType:</TD> <TD>ethernetCsmacd (1)</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>ifName:</TD> <TD>Fa0/0</TD></TR>
<TR><TD>Max Speed:</TD> <TD>12.5 MBytes/s</TD></TR>
</TABLE>
html produced.
<TR>
<TD><DIV><B>to blah and blah</B></DIV>
<DIV><A HREF="xxxx.html"><IMG BORDER=1 ALT="xxxx Traffic Graph"
SRC="xxxx-day.png"></A>
<BR>
<BR>
<SMALL><!--#flastmod file="xxxx.html" --></SMALL></DIV>
</TD></TR>
Now why does the indexmaker only show blah and blah in the heading and not
the
full Fast Ethernet to blah and blah ?
Help Appreciated.
Martin
