If you increase your links speed, all you have to do is to update the
bandwith in the MaxBytes[router_if]: XXXX
And in the next update of MRTG the graphic will adjust the scale.

Subject: [mrtg] MaxBytes

Hi !!!

I have the MRTG tool monitoring the two interfaces of a Cisco 1601 router:
one interface serial HDLC and the other Ethernet 10 Mbps.
How can I set up the MaxBytes of each interfaces ???? Manually or
automatically ??? This is in order to view the graphic in an appropriate
manner.
Because the mrtg.cfg file has this datum and I don't know if I can edit it
in case I upgrade the network speed from 32 Kbps to 64 Kbps on the serial
interface of the router.

Thanking in advance and regards,

Alejandro Cabrera Obed
