When using this script, I noticed the same thing .... if i ran it using the
same device/or 5500 as the switch . ie "cammer community at switch
community at switch(with a rsm)" showed 1/1 then mac. However i was able to get
this to work if you take an actual switch that is on your network and use
the 5500 as the router. For example, use "cammer community at switch(on the
network connected to the 5500) community at router(the 5500)". This worked well
and I got the port/mac address on the switch. In fact we have 2 core 5500's
and when I ran it against the other one, it also gave me the IP Addresses of
the devices connected! This did take longer to run, but that is cool! If you
have any tweaks, etc, let me know.

Subject: [rrd-users] Cammer script
Has anyone used this script, as when I run it on a Cisco 5500 Cat it reports
as most PC's connected to 1/1 and not their actual port.
Any Ideas
Nigel
