[mrtg] snmp errors

I am monitoring a frame connection on a cisco MC3810 and running mrtg on
freebsd4.1.  Ever so often I get this error.

SNMP Error:
no response received
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "10.100.1.99" [10.100.1.99].161)
                  community: "removed"
                 request ID: 1943487747
                PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
                    timeout: 2s
                    retries: 5
                    backoff: 1)
SNMPGET Problem for ifInOctets.2 ifOutOctets.2 sysUptime sysName on
removed at 10.100.1.99
SNMP Error:

If I reboot the unix box, everything starts working again.  This happens to
other frame connections I am monitoring too, but I just chose one for
reference.  Any ideas what would cause it?   Other servers and connections I
am monitoring on this same box are fine.
