[mrtg] How do I start snmp agent for MRTG?

I have posted on a freebsd newsgroup asking for help with this and have not
gotten any response in a few days.  I have snmp installed on my box, and I
have the snmp.conf file created, but I don't know how to start it.  Anyone
here help me out with this.
