Why not use a "real" web page analysis tool like webalizer, wusage, or
something else like that?

Subject: [mrtg] monitoring just webtraffic using mrtg

i've been tasked now with monitoring just traffic in/out of
ports 80 and 443 on a host. from looking at some example
configs it seems some people hack this up by querying ipchains
for this information then handing it to mrtg, is there a way
to tell mrtg to only montior traffic on a certain port like
this? i thought there was, but the mention of ports in the
docs are for switch "ports" and not really os networking ports.

thanks!
