This means that the OID you are trying to use is not supported on the
machine you are trying to poll.  You probably just need an instance
identifier (another number after 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.39.1.1.5.5.4;  usually 0
or 1).

What happens when you snmpwalk this OID from the command line?  This usually
will give you a pretty good clue.
