hi chris,
We have NT4 with Citrix Metaframe 1.8.
I wrote a batch-script to gather the data on the NTTS and transfer it to the
MRTG-Server via FTP every 5 minutes.
My input file (perf.txt) looks like:
,,entryname1[,entryname2[,entryname3...]],
%date%,%time%,value1[,value2[,value3...]],
I use the perl-script getlog.pl from http://www.wn.com.au/psimmo to put the
data into MRTG.
In the cfg-file the lines look like:
Target[NTTS_1]: `c:\perl\bin\perl c:\perf\getlog.pl "C:\Programme\Apache
Group\Apache\htdocs\statistics\NTTS\perf.txt" "entryname1"`
Target[NTTS_2]: `c:\perl\bin\perl c:\perf\getlog.pl "C:\Programme\Apache
Group\Apache\htdocs\statistics\NTTS\perf.txt" "entryname2"`
etc.
In the batch-script I use the commandlines:
query user|find /c "ica" to get the number of users connected to the NTTS
query process * |find /c "progwhatever.exe" gives you the number of users
running the program progwhatever.exe
I hope this helps you. All other datas: CPU, harddisc I get the normal way
with the MIBs of Windows NT.
Regards,
Markus
