[mrtg] traffic accounting (in/out)

hello,

how do summarize in/out traffic for a host in mrtg.cfg ? i'm searching for a couple of days and i aint found nothing (sorry for my english, i killed my teacher). If someone can give me an exemple (a working exemple, i hate theory), it will be appreciate :)
