[mrtg] question

dea all


why do i always get an error mesg saying       error on line 1    bla bla bla  file   mrtg.cfg bla bla bla    does not make sense ????? 

  i wirte the command    start /B perl c:\mrtg-2.9.12a\bin\mrtg c:\c:\mrtg-2.9.12a\bin\mrtg.cfg 

 and of course sure of the paths and so on, and still i got this error mesg 
can someone help plz ?
