I use a program on my NT 4.0 server called the MRTG Statistic Updater. It
runs as an NT Service and runs a command file you select at your specified
time interval. It's pretty easy to install and update. You can write a
command file for any number of MRTG configurations and it doesn't matter if
you are using rateup or RRD. The address for the application is
http://www.queso.com/mrtgstatupdater.htm

Hope you like it as much as I do.

Subject: RD: [mrtg] flashing screen

Hi, I have MRTG installed on an NT workstation. It goes out and polls many
cisco devices every 10 minutes. This causes a flashing DOS screen to appear
for a minute or so while it runs the perl daemon. It makes the PC inoperable
while this is happening - Is there any known way of hiding the flashing
screen ?(getting the software to operate in the background)

Any help would be appreciated
