Hello,

Yes, this like an "abreviation":
MRTG simply uses ifInOctets and ifOutOctets from the mib2/interfaces/ifTable
standard :

ifInOctets  : .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.1
ifOutOctets : .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.1

Note that the final "1" is the "1" of 1:public at ....
Another interface for 2, 3, ...
public is the SNMP community.
