Or skip SNMP completely and use the script on this site
http://www.wn.com.au/psimmo/
to collect data directly from the Win2k performance monitor. Works great
and less overhead on monitored machines (they don't have to do any
conversion)

Hello,

so if the registry is allright, and if performance counters return values,
then it must be that your perfmib doesn't include these counters. Indeed, in
order to NT to "send" the performance counters as SNMP format, it must
convert them via perfmib.dll. It can ONLY converts counters that have been
compiled into mib.bin. So, maybe you haven't compiled http counters and so
on into mib.bin...

Ok so how this is done ?
Use perf2mib.exe to convert what you want into perfmib.mib, and perfmib.ini.
Then use mibcc.exe to compile perfmib.mib into mib.bin. (backup perfmib.ini,
perfmib.mib, mib.bin before doing anything !).

Hope this helps.
