Hi Richard,

Not sure you have to, try the RunAsDaemon:yes setting under global options.
This way mrtg will call automatically every 300 seconds (default).

You can change this to a higher value, lower won't work (mrtg will call more
often, but the data will still be handled in 300 sec intervals)
