[mrtg] Rateup ERROR

Hi,

For some reason, after I have been gathering data for more that a month, I
am receiving Rateup ERROR: log file was corrupt or not in sorted order. 
Looking in the log file I can't find anything unusual. How do I resolve this
problem? I would like to still keep the data that I gathered in the file
before it became corrupt.
