[mrtg] Re: AIX system monitoring

Hi,
I tried to use snmp to monitor AIX, but I could only obtain information
of network interfaces and finally give up.

Now I'm using the perl program unix-status-server from the rrdtool
frontend remstats. With a little modification I can monitor cpu, memory,
load, disk and port response.

I think I read of people who recommended using ucd-snmp in AIX, 
but you have to compile it for aix, so... good luck.
