ask the administrator of the box? Who setup snmp on it?


If you have an account, do this:

Open the Services, find snmp, hit the properties of snmp. The last tab on the right (security, I think) will show the community and any ACLs there are for snmp. 

Lucky for you I just set up mrtg on (yuk) Win2k myself last night :)
