[mrtg] Possible to run cfgmaker and mrtg simulataneously?

Hi,

I've built a complicated MRTG site mapping hundreds of
interfaces in say 15 larger Cisco routers(7507s/7513s).
The interfaces are grouped together onto a common web
page so a client organization may log in and access all
the interfaces for that client from all routers off a
single web page. All this works very well with the
exception of updating router configurations. Some of the
routers are behind firewalls and pulling the configuration
can sometimes take 2 hours on a large router. When we do
updates now I disable the mrtg runs, repoll all the
routers, remap interfaces, and re-enable mrtg. What I'd
like to know is whether I can run mrtg against a router
at the same time as I run cfgmaker? If I can do so my
statistics gathering would not be interrupted and we
could remove the mrtg shutdown part. If anyone knows
whether this would work or not I'd appreciate any advice.
We shortly will be adding approximately 200 more small
routers to this system and updates will become much more
complicated. Thanks in advance for any advice! tw
