MRTG does rates.
Displaying a snapshot of multiple snmp values is not a rate.
MRTG would not be good for this. You may try a simple shell
script using snmpwalk (if on *nix, not sure of other platforms),
that would work ok.

Greetings all,
I have MRTG up and running fine. It works well for the display/graphing of continuous traffic on this device or that. (As implied by its name.) However, does MRTG work well when monitoring software components, and you wish to create displays that might be looking at a "snapshot" of simple MIB values? (Many are just 0 or 1, this integer or that, or even a text string...)
If MRTG is well suited, I must have missed it in the docs. A pointer would be appreciated. Otherwise, can anybody recommend another public domain package that would, for example, display the output of multiple snmp gets?
Thanks in advance,
Greg DeRenne
