[mrtg] can someone explain this to me

 ok here is the setup

border router <---------> fast0/28 (catalyst) and monitoring fast0/8 on same
cisco catalyst

Im sending a high traffic (10 megs) load to a machine inside a Vlan
(fast0/8), this Vlan interface is brustable to 1500.0 kb only, however I see
the the current in/out just leveling off at around 158k. The fast0/28 which
is a 100 mb interface connected to my core router sees the right amount of
traffic going trough it. My question is why isn't the Vlan stats for fast0/8
maxing out instead of just being leveled at 158k.
