[mrtg] Combine multi items then divide

I have looked in the docs but cannot find out how to combine multiply items
(4) then divide those item to get an average.

I assumed:

OID&OID:public at IP + OID&OID:public at IP + OID&OID:public at IP +
OID&OID:public at IP /4

but all I get is the total sum of all 4.

Can anyone point me in the correct direction?
