That depends on how you are executing MRTG, if your using a daemon that has
the perl process in memory 24/7 then you will need to stop/start the process
for changes to take effect.

What OS are you using and how do you execute MRTG?

Subject: [mrtg] Change in config files

Hi,

I would like to know what is the best method for MRTG to take into
account changes in *.cfg files when we add or move interfaces.
Do I have to stop process when there are changes and then restart ??!!

In Daemon process, it is said that " restart of the is required in order
to activate changes in config files"

Thanks for helps..
