Multiply by 8. 193,000 bytes = 1,544,000 bits = 1.54 Mbits.

It confused me at first (and the management types I was showing it off
to!), but so far the only way I've heard or found to change the kBytes
figure to Mbits/kbits in the "MaxSpeed" field is to manually edit the
config file.

I'd love to hear ideas from folks as to a global config hook to change this
value.

I have a T1 between 2 buildings. (This is leased from a local Telco.)
When
I ran MRTG against the router, I got a reading of 193.0 kBytes/sec for the
line speed. Obviously that isn't a T1. The Cisco routers are a 1720 at
each end connected directly to the smart jack (with no CSU/DSU) and the
LAN.
Is there anyway for me to verify the bandwidth on the T1 other than knowing
it is saturated and very slow. I have full access to the routers.
