[mrtg] Perl Module NET:SNMP on W2K

Hi Guys,

I am trying out Simons pingnode2 perl script which is great, but I cant get
it to run on W2k.

I am running Active Perl 5.61 on W2K, running MRTG and RRDtool successfully
for over a year now.

When I run the script commands from the command line, ie perl
c:\mrtg\run\pingnode2.pl 1.1.1.1 2.2.2.2 RO (where 1.X is source address,
2.X is destination address and Ro is the RO community string) I get the
following;

M:\>perl c:\mrtg\run\pingnode2.pl 1.1.1.1 2.2.2.2 R0
Can't locate loadable object for module SNMP in @INC (@INC contains:
C:/Perl/lib
 C:/Perl/site/lib .) at c:\mrtg\run\pingnode2.pl line 2
Compilation failed in require at c:\mrtg\run\pingnode2.pl line 2.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at c:\mrtg\run\pingnode2.pl line 2.

I cant grasp the concepts of installing the module within NT. I have the
NET-SNMP files from CPAN, but dont know how to install them properly. RW
access defintely works on the router, which is a Cisco 3600 running IOS 12.1

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

Sorry, I have never used SNMP on Win2K, and have also not compiled Perl
modules on that platform.

Regards,

Simon
