What is the MaxBytes value?  Does this correspond 
with what you think to be the case?

IOW, if the interface speed is given as 
7000, multiple it by 8 to get bits.

Remember - "rates" is the password...

I am monitoring a router which gives the output in bytes to mrtg, but
mrtg thinks its bits.
Is there any way I can change this with mrtg?
