[mrtg] slash in target-line

hi,

i create a config with this command:

cfgmaker --global 'Options[_]: growright, bits' --ifref=descr --ifdesc=descr 
public at router --output router.cfg

but in the config-file there is a "\" befor the interface-name. i´ve 
never seen that befor. how can i remove this slash?

example:
Target[router_FastEthernet0]: \FastEthernet0:public at router:

i am using activeperl on win2k.
