[mrtg] Measureing Latency

Hello again,

I have a question. I am trying to measure latency. I have measurement
graphing with ping probe but some people are saying that this may be an
inaccurate graph for latency because pings can be delayed by the router due
to priority reasons.

So I am needing information on how I can graph latency without using
pings. Some methods that I have found has brought me to use Network
Monitoring Using Cisco Service Assurance Agent across Cisco Networks.
Also another method is to use Network Time Protocol (NTP). I have not
heard much on this way but it was said in a search on deja.com that this is
how UUNet measures latency.

Has anyone on this group ever heard of any other way besides of ping test
to measure latency??
