[mrtg] Re: MRTG startup problem

Check the permissions on the existing file.  
What OS do you run it under?  If this is a new file, make sure you 
have rights to write to the directory.

I am trying to start MRTG as a user other than root.

When I try to do the start, I get the following error:

ERROR: Creating templock rrdmrtg.cfg_l_1143: Permission denied at 
/usr/bin/mrtg line1189

How do I correct this error so that I can run MRTG as myself instead of root.
