[mrtg] Running MRTG w/ less than 5 minutes interval

Hi,

Can someone help explain whay I can't change the
polling interval w/ MRTG 2.9.x to anything less than 5
minutes?  I found the section in the .pm file but I
assume there is a reason for setting it as such.  This
is, of course, running w/o rrdtool.  Thanks a lot.
