[mrtg] Sendind Alerts with Mrtg

I'm new with MRTG though after getting some examples I finally got it 
configured and working so far. One this is remaining though .. I wonna send 
alerts when my thresholds are reached. I've seen some examples calling some 
batch files. Can someone send me a copy and some instructions. or a. helpful 
link

Any help really appreciated.
