Should be,  ry and telnet to that port from a machine other that the one you
put in the hosts.allow,  should get the connection closed output only.

Your suggestion with /etc/services reminded me about /etc/hosts.allow

It now works. Is it secure when I just allow one ip address to acces that
port that I specify?
