[mrtg] Why does this happen ???

I am using mrtg to monitor our HUGE 7513 with tons of wan ckts on it.

All is well then we disconnect one of our t-1 ones and we get errors 
like this.

rtg /mrtg/bin# /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/mrtg /mrtg/cfg/bb7513c.cfg
Rateup WARNING: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup could not read the primary 
log file for bb7513c_serial0_0_1.9
Rateup ERROR: /usr/local/mrtg-2/bin/rateup found bb7513c_serial0_0_1.9's 
log file was corrupt
          or not in sorted order:

 with Exit Value 1 when doing router 'bb7513c_serial0_0_1.9'
 Signal was 0, Returncode was 1


ANY CLUES?????


How do I fix this and Keep all my data!!!!!!!!
